Admission Prices & Visiting Guidelines

House admission: $5.00 per person *cash only*.

Free admission to children 12 and under, University of Mississippi students/faculty/staff, and UM Museum Members.

Visiting Guidelines

No reservations needed except for groups of 10 or more. Please call 662-234-3284 to reserve a tour if needed.

Tour groups must be no more than 60 people. Fire regulations prohibit groups larger than 40 inside the house. Smoking is not allowed in the house, on the grounds, or in Bailey Woods.

No private events of any kind on the grounds without permission or reservation.

No picnics on the grounds during business hours.

Photography Policies:

  • Visitor photography for personal use is allowed on the grounds and in the house. No flash photography inside.
  • Photo shoot sessions are preferred before or after business hours: Before 10am or after 4pm Tues-Sat. Before 1pm or after 4pm on Sundays. Examples of photo shoots include: portraits, headshots, family photos, graduation, prom etc.
  • Photo shoot sessions during business hours must pay $5.00 per person cash only. Payment is accepted in the house.
  • Proposals and Wedding Photography during business hours must call ahead: 662 234 3284

 

The following is prohibited:

  • No photography for advertising or commercial purposes
  • No confetti, glitter, bird seed, rice, flower petals (real or fake), champagne poppers, or any other prop that could become litter
  • No smoking, open flames, fireworks, or sparklers
  • Do not attach decorations to any part of the house, surrounding outbuildings, trees, or landscaping
  • No trimming, cutting, or altering vegetation on the grounds in any way
  • No climbing, pulling, or leaning on the house, outbuildings, trees, or landscaping
  • No drone photography or videography
